HOPE ASIA 2019 International Conference Press Meet at Kolkata Press Club

Thalassemia, leukaemia or various other Blood diseases, some of whom are known as blood cancer, in many cases, is controllable disease. Now Latest Generation Medicines and Targeted Therapies have been introduced to the treatment of cancer. Many patients have been survived from Hoskin’s lymphoma and many other blood cancers. Many patients have also spent natural life with treatment of such cancers and blood diseases. The treatment of Thalassemia & Haemophilia are also improved and modernised. The longevity of the patients have been increased, many of them have been participated to the main stream of the society. In these points of views, it is our matter of pride that ‘HOPE ASIA 2019’is an International Conference on Haematology will be held in Kolkata.
HOPE ASIA 2019 stands for–Highlights of Past EHA (European Haematology Association) in Asia. In the Pre-conference press Meet DR. Tuphan kanti Dolai, organizing Secretary and eminent haematologist of the country has said that it is going to be organized jointly by Eastern Haematology Group, Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and European Haematology Association from 23rd to 25th August 2019 in the venue – Hyatt Regency, Kolkata.
From DR. Maytree Bhattacharyee, it is known that there will be 35 International Faculties are coming from different corners of the worlds to brief their best researches in the field of Haematology. World Leaders and Eminent Indian faculties will deliver lectures on various facts of Haematological disorders. With this event the Pharmaceutical industry in India will get to witness the Academia – Industry interaction at the highest level. All International Societies of Haematology like – Sri Lanka College of Haematologists, Pakistan Society of Haematology, The Thai Society of Haematology, Philippine Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and Haematology Society of Bangladesh will be our International Partners for this conference.
There will be 170 National Faculties from all round India best medical institutes in order to make it a grand success. All premium Societies related to Haematology – The Eastern Haematology Group (EHG), The Tata Medical Centre, The Institute of Haematology & Transfusion Medicine (IHTM), The Department of Haematology, NRS Medical College in Kolkata along with the Bengal Society of Haematology (BSH), North East Chapter of Haematology and Transfusion (NEISHTM), Haematology Foundation of Bihar, and Orissa Haematology will organize this event in close collaboration with EHA. There are 75 Abstracts had been submitted by the foreign students and they have sponsored by the EHA organizing Committee
DR. Deepak Kumar Mishra has said that the major highlights of this meeting are the recent advancements in Lymphoma, Myelomas, Myeloproliferative Neoplasm, Benign Haematology including Thalassemia, Haemophilia etc. Half day of conference is dedicated to Paediatric & adolescent Haematology. There will be Industry Symposium meeting will be held which also be the best part of the conference.
DR. Dolai has announced that on 25th August morning – There will be Walk for Haematology around the Kolkata. He has requested to participate media & people to this prestigious ‘walk’.
DR. R. K. Jena has said that In spite of modern advanced treatment and better survival rate, most of the people get afraid to the name of blood cancer and other blood diseases. Mass awareness to the treatment is very much necessary. Such conferences are very much useful to achieve goal.
